Curtains

Beautiful hand finished bespoke curtains. We specialise in interlined and hand finished window treatments.

We make from our extensive range of fabrics or can work with your own cloth.

At Stitchinghouse we love Silk, Wool & Embroideries.

If you wish to make your own project. We can supply you with a kit using our best quality professional linings, interlinings and fabrics.

We are happy to restore historical textiles and rework pre-loved soft furnishings.

You may wish to provide us with your own measurements and hang the curtains or blinds yourself. We have a bespoke made to measure price list that encompasses your input. Please contact us for further advice.

 

Curtain poles and tracks

Our studio has many samples of curtain poles for you to view covering a wide range of price bands.  Styles from ornate and traditional to cutting edge modern and bespoke finishes.

 

Blinds

We pride ourselves on the quality of our tailored hand stitched bespoke Roman blinds.

Venetian and Roller blinds are also available. An exciting idea for a blind is a digital image from a photograph you have taken made into a stunning roller blind.

 

Wallpaper

A small yet interesting selection of quality traditional and unusual papers.

 

Loose Covers

Beautiful new covers can be cut for your furniture in your home. After making we will fit the loose covers in situ.  No furniture transportation costs required. New seat pads and cushions can be organised if necessary.

 

Sewing Classes

One to one sewing classes are now available from our working studio in Poundbury.

Come and learn to how to make soft furnishings the professional way.
